In spite of the set backs from the carpenter, other work at the house is progressing, slowly. MJE finally came last week and finished the garage floor.  Electrical power has been installed to the house, and work will hopefully be able to begin this week on the water main. (It was supposed to be installed last week, but they can't dig the trench in the rain.) And, Kiley Plumbing has made a good deal of progress installing the plumbing.

Once the roof is finished, the house is totally "in the dry," and the water is brought to the house, the next steps will be to have MJE backfill and finish grading around the house. After that, we can begin construction of the porch/deck that will go all the way around the house and then put the siding on.

While all that work on the outside is being done, the plumber can finish up his work, then the HVAC people will install the geo-thermal system and duct work, and then the electrician can get in to do the wiring.

After all that, there's the insulation to install and the drywall to put up. PHEW!  Still a LOT of work ahead of us, and a lot of it is going to need volunteer effort to accomplish.
