They poured the footings for the basement...   It was pretty amazing to see how much the physical area around the property changed with the heavy concrete equipment on site. They had to put down a LOT of stone to make a place for the truck(s) to drive on so they wouldn't sink out of site in the mud. And even then, there are huge ruts in the "road" and surrounding site area. We couldn't drive in a far as we normally do because of the mud and deep ruts. I guess I never stopped to realize just how much those trucks weigh when filled with concrete!  Now the whole winter road restriction makes more sense. 

We are now praying that there will be no damage to the Spin Lake roads as our equipment goes in and out - because if there is, WE have to pay to have it repaired.
